Mr. Kambo's immigration practice involves family-based immigration applications and petitions to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of State. This includes Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) proceedings, marriage-based green card applications, naturalization applications, temporary protected status (TPS) applications, asylum appeals, and employed-based sponsorships.
Mr. Kambo has also represented companies around the world in import/export compliance matters. He ensures companies implement and follow the correct protocols to ensure they comply with evolving international laws and regulations. His practice includes submitting petitions and protests to the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), appeals of CBP decisions, import/export compliance, tariffs, and duties, establishing bonded warehouses / Free Trade Zones (FTZ), and handling matters with multiple federal agencies with specific import/export compliance regulations. Mr Kambo protects the bottom line of his import/export clients.
Elan Stiberman, a dedicated attorney and skilled mediator, earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Business Law from the University of Miami School of Business. Elan’s academic journey continued at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Cardozo’s prestigious Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution, ranked 5th nationally by U.S. News & World Report in 2021.
As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, Elan has an established background in mediation and dispute resolution. Before earning his certifications, he mediated for the New York City Small Claims Court, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Mediation Establishment and Neighborhood Disputes. He further refined his dispute resolution skills as a Senior Editor in Cardozo’s ADR Competition Honor Society, where he coached, competed, and judged teams in national and international negotiation, mediation, and arbitration competitions.
While pursuing his law degree, Elan was honored with the esteemed Inspire! Community Impact Award for his service-oriented efforts. He held numerous leadership positions, including the President of the Jewish Law Students Association, President of the Federalist Society Cardozo Student Chapter, and Senator and Budget Committee Member in the Student Bar Association. Elan was also selected as a Public Service Scholar, underscoring his dedication to serving his community.
Before establishing Stiberman Legal, PLLC, Elan enriched his legal experience as an associate at a national law firm, representing a wide array of insurance carriers in first- and third-party disputes, and at a boutique commercial litigation firm, managing complex business and real estate disputes. Elan’s approach is rooted in creative problem-solving and interest-based negotiation strategies.
